I enjoy and appreciate all the different types of people who give my blog posts a cursory glance and then decide to follow me. I am honored that you find my writings worthy of your time and attention.
However, it is also important my readers understand the why and what of what I write. I don’t write to please or entertain others. I don’t write to try to persuade others to change their (or my) point of views. I write because I have an urge to voice my opinion and a place to put it.
Therefore, I think it is appropriate to remind prospective followers of a couple things:
1. I am not a fan of religion. I don’t seek out and read religious blogs from devout followers of Christ hellbent on trying to shove their sanctimonious claptrap down my throat. Keep it off my blog, okay? The same goes for any website promoting religious pictures or products.
2. Political nutjobs. Sell your platform elsewhere, I am all stocked up here.
3. Bloggers who want to help me promote traffic to my website. I am not concerned about my popularity on here, I just like to write.
4. Twenty-somethings. Read my post on this subject for a further explanation.
